All Companions in Avowed and When You Unlock Them

In Avowed, companions play a crucial role in your journey to stop the Dreamscourge. Each one brings unique abilities, backstories, and side quests, offering guidance, combat support, and even stat bonuses. However, they won't be available from the start—you'll need to recruit them as you progress.

How Many Companions Are in Avowed?

There are four main companions in Avowed: Kai, Marius, Giatta, and Yatzli. Technically, Garryck and Ilora from the tutorial can also be considered companions, but they don't stay with you long enough to count.

These companions join your party in a set order, though you may encounter some of them earlier before they officially become part of your team.
